Folding Chair with Steel Frame and Upholstered Vinyl Seat, 480 lbs Capacity, Char-Blue (Set of 4)

The National Public Seating 1300 Series steel frame upholstered premium vinyl seat and back folding chair features a char-blue, 18 gauge, 7/8" tubular steel "Y-frame" structure. It is equipped with dark midnight blue upholstered vinyl seat and backrest, three double-riveted leg cross braces, and double hinges on each side for stability. When not in use, the chair can be easily folded for efficient storage.

This chair meets the American National Standards Institute/Business & Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (ANSI/BIFMA) standard for drop weight support of 300 lb., and it supports 480 lb. of static weight. It is designed with three double-riveted leg cross braces (two on the back legs, one on the front) and double hinges on each side. The seat and backrest are upholstered for comfort, featuring 1-1/4" thick, 0.9 lb. density foam in the seat and 1.2 lb. density foam in the backrest. The upholstery is covered with 0.8 mm thick vinyl that is water resistant, making it easy to clean.

The steel frame of the chair is powder coated for corrosion resistance. It has replaceable polypropylene glides to protect floor surfaces. Plastic plugs at the top of the back legs are shaped to hold the frame and provide added stability. The plugs and floor glides match the frame color. Furthermore, the chair is designed to fit closely to another of its kind when folded, making it ideal for institutional temporary seating applications.

The chair is MAS certified as low volatile organic compound (VOC) emitting furniture according to the criteria defined by USGBC LEED 2009 for Schools and Commercial Interiors. It also meets the flammability requirements of TB117.
