The National Public Seating 2300 Series steel frame upholstered folding chair offers a comfortable seating option with its graystone upholstered fabric seat and backrest. It features an 18 gauge, 7/8" tubular steel "Y-frame" structure for durability and stability, along with three double-riveted leg cross braces and double hinges on each side. This chair can support up to 480 lb. of static weight and meets the ANSI/BIFMA standard for drop weight support of 300 lb.

The seat and backrest are padded with 1-1/4" thick foam in the seat and 1.2 lb. density foam in the backrest, providing a cushioned and comfortable experience. The fabric upholstery is abrasion tested to withstand 30,000 double rubs for durability under heavy use. Additionally, the fabric is treated with Scotchgard stain and water repellant to maintain its appearance over time.

The steel frame of the chair is powder coated for corrosion resistance, and it features replaceable polypropylene glides to protect floor surfaces. The chair also comes with plastic plugs at the top of the back legs for added stability. When not in use, the chair can be folded for efficient storage, making it suitable for institutional temporary seating applications.

Furthermore, this chair is MAS certified as low volatile organic compound emitting furniture and meets various environmental standards, including LEED and ANSI/BIFMA criteria. It also complies with the flammability requirements of the California Bureau of Home Furnishings.
