NPS 1200 Series Vinyl Upholstered Folding Chair, Black (4 Pack)

The National Public Seating 1200 Series steel frame folding chair features a black, 18 gauge, 7/8" tubular steel "Y-frame" structure with caviar black upholstered vinyl seat and backrest. It is designed for efficient storage when not in use, with double-riveted front and rear leg cross braces and double hinges for stability.

This chair meets the ANSI/BIFMA standard for drop weight support of 300 lb. and can support up to 480 lb. of static weight. The seat and backrest are upholstered for comfort, with 1-1/4" thick, 0.9 lb. density foam in the seat and 1.2 lb. density foam in the backrest. The 0.8 mm thick vinyl covering is water resistant and easy to clean.

The chair has a rounded, "waterfall" front edge to reduce pressure on the knees, and the steel frame is powder coated for corrosion resistance. Replaceable polypropylene glides protect floor surfaces, while plastic plugs at the top of the back legs add stability and match the frame color.

When folded, the chair fits closely to others for efficient storage, making it ideal for temporary seating in institutional settings. It is MAS certified as low VOC emitting furniture and meets flammability requirements.
